"Golden Kesar" is the name for Kesar mangoes that are bagged at the time of flowering. Because these mangoes are bagged when the mangoes are very young they have a rich color with no mango leaf stains on the skin and have a rich golden saffron color. They are slightly a bigger fruit and hence more pulpier and juicer than regular Kesar mangoes. They have a very unique aroma and a smooth fibreless texture. They are often used in gifting due to their unique look. They are used extensively in desserts, such as mango lassi, ice cream, and purees, and are highly prized for their exceptional taste.
